Love it!
I loved that it came in a wooden crate with all the old looking documents and paper clippings, it made the experience seem realistic. The statue itself was amazing
We have often acquired items of disturbing nature. But never before have we come across an object so abjectly horrifying in its implications.
Our contact‘s hands shook as he handed us this box. At first we thought him paranoid, fearing phantom assassins. But after opening that damned crate ourselves we realized the agents of the cult were all too real. Real, yes, but also the least of his fears.
Surely our members are familiar with the pulp contrivances of Mr. Lovecraft, whose feverish imaginings pass in and out of vogue. How terrible to realize his overwrought fictions are only sensational corruptions of the truth! How and where he laid his hands on the manuscript in this crate I do not know — but surely that knowledge haunted him to his dying day, as it will us. And perhaps you.
The typewritten document could be dismissed as the ramblings of a madman. The newspaper articles as coincidence. Even the bas-relief of the lunatic artist confirms little by itself... but the statue! The statue! The famous icon of Lovecraft's tale here revealed to the gaze and touch in all its scabrous, otherworldly malice. What hand made it? What vision inspired it? And what madness in the deep slumbers still, but must one day wake?
It is an altogether remarkable find. Yet even now I question the wisdom of unleashing the information contained therein onto the wider world. For after such knowledge, what forgiveness?

It was a great gift to scare someone. The items look authentic. The only thing I was opposed to was that the letter in the container had the heading of Mysterious Package. I really think that gave it away where to search online for information. If you want to advertise, send a letter later. This was the second gift I have sent. The Weeping Book was hit. My sister called the police. They showed and did a background check on the missing person. That was hilarious. She was very very scared.
I sent this to my wife for her birthday, she was very creeped out by it! She gets genuine spooky vibes from the statue, and the coin has a satisfying weight to it. Very worth it.
The idol occupies a prominent place in my home, the coin is on display, and I love all the goodies that came with them!
I snagged this box, and when I was showing it off to my friends, I freaked them right out. I have friends that live next to one of the key locations mentioned in the fiction, and when I showed them the rather convincing label on the front, they were legitimately concerned that I'd picked up an artifact from the British Museum of Natural History XD
