Post Mortem LA: Lucha Muerte

Case Synopsis

“Don’t you know that a midnight hour comes when everyone has to take off his mask? Do you think life always lets itself be trifled with? Do you think you can sneak off a little before midnight to escape this?”  - Søren Kierkegaard

The door of El Santo Niño church flies open, and two shotgun blasts resound in the hall. Horrified witnesses report a gunman wearing a red cape and mask. Now El Angel Rojo — luchador and hero of Chavez Ravine  — sits in a jail cell downtown, charged with double murder…

It is up to you, auxiliary investigator at the Global Detective Agency, to venture into the valleys of death and the wild world of Lucha Libre, where heroes and villains alike keep their identities hidden. Is the Red Angel truly a demon in disguise? Or are there more malevolent forces at play?

In this case of high-flying luchadores, masked Mexican marauders and one barrio’s resistance against the powers that be, only you can find the deadly truth of Lucha Muerte!

Christmas gift

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. I forwarded her the email Christmas Eve and she was so excited. She cut out the I’d card; put her picture on it, fingerprint etc.

after Christmas she spent two full days immersed in the mystery.

She loved it.

Just trying to figure out which one will be next.

The first of many!

Got this as a gift for my brother. He is absolutely engrossed in it. Immediately after he ordered the Disappearance of Cadet Turner box for me. We are already planning our first joint big buy of the more pricey packages. They provide hours of fun, and as we said to one another, every time you uncover another mystery and solve another puzzle, it only makes you hungry for the next one. I am looking forward to hours of future delves into murder mystery, horror, and adventure. I would recommend not only the product, but the company.

The easiest to solve of the three Post Mortem LA sets

....But in no way is this a bad thing. It still took my wife and I about 4 to 5 hours. We had a ton of fun and we were able to solve every part of the mystery. In some of the other ones while we solved the main case there may have been parts that we missed. Not to mention the fact that this one comes with some physical items the items means that it is extra fun for doing with the whole family.
