I actually got this as a gift back in 2018 when it came in separate mailings. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was a really awesome adventure with a lot of detail. Anyone who has even a little bit of interest in ancient Egypt would really enjoy this
The makers did a great job of creating an engaging experience with this one. The old newspaper pages, journal entries, and other paper relics had an authentic appearance that really drew us into the story. The writing of the journal was particularly well done and it was easy to imagine the voice of the woman writing it. The puzzles were challenging but not out of reach. Overall, a compelling experience that we enjoyed. One of the better packages from Mysterious Package Company (I have several).
My family loved this! Once we got going it was impossible for us to stop. We were amazed, entertained, frustrated and filled with speculation as we dove deeper into the mystery. It was a perfect game for us and I guarantee we will be engaging another Mysterious Package in the future.
Got this as a gift for the boyfriend and I have been pleased to watch the childlike wonder in his eyes all morning. He’s 37! Haha! I could not have gotten him a better gift. It’s just so curated and just what a fun, cool concept. Love everything about it!
