You will also receive those scraps, and those whispers. Artifacts that hint at the darkness between the words of the play. Relics, rune-scrolls, star-charts, a dossier streaked with blood. As the only ticket-holder still living, you are the only one who can solve the many complicated puzzles and decipher the mystery of The King in Yellow.

So many intricate pieces and so much to figure out! So worth the cost to surprise my husband with this when it started showing up in the mail! Hours of enjoyment spent unraveling the mystery in the crate.
Like Filigree in Shadow, it seemed like I unpacked...and unpacked...and unpacked some more. As someone whose actual job involves reading through legal and court documents, sometimes going back to the 1800s, some of which are the actual original documents (not just scans or copies), I've been amazed and astounded by the seeming verisimilitude and authenticity of it all.
And like Filigree in Shadow, I ended up repacking it all to go over again at another time. I anticipate many pleasurable hours poring over letters and articles, deciphering codes, studying images and diagrams, and breathing a sigh of relief that my ticket to that one night's performance of The King in Yellow came too late.

Fantastic fun, and a great puzzle.
I already knew about mysterious package overall quality, and I was not disappointed with this one. My only regret is that I did not back the Kickstarter, but I was still able to enjoy this fantastic experience. I will surely order the other experiences!
