For thousands of years, it waited. It was patient. It did not mind the small quarters, or the stale air, or the sand-fleas that crawled blindly through cracks in the walls.
Time means nothing to a god.
To them, human lives are like those of sand-fleas: quick bright sparks in a universe of dust.
The unknown god waited for freedom. It hid itself in the deepest places. It did not seek glory like the sun god Ra, or beauty and admiration like Hathor. It wanted more.
It finally got its chance, thanks to the world’s greatest Egyptologist. He found the god’s sacred tomb, freed the mummy from its bindings - and then vanished from existence.
The Egyptologist’s fate was unknown for centuries. The fruits of his search were deemed lost, until the discovery of the wooden crate you hold in your very own hands. Buried by time and forgotten by history, the greatest treasures of an ancient civilization finally await discovery: riches beyond wealth and power beyond life.
Still working our way through the material, but the level of detail is impressive. Seeming scraps of newspaper clippings or old letters contain subtle hints. The diary is critical, and I've read it through three times now and I'm still learning new things that will assist us in finding the location of the Forgotten Tomb. The quality of material, and originality of complex clues, is mind boggling.
I was more excited than my significant other as he opened the mysterious package on Christmas morning! Instantly, he was fascinated as he pulled out documents and artifacts. It’s so well done and interesting to read the articles and discover all of the treasures this gift has to offer. Worth it!
Bought this for my daughter (19) who spent a few weeks at home, following surgery. At one point, she looked at the map and everything laid on the coffee table in front of the fire, and she said: "we should leave everything as is, it looks so beautiful!" And, you know what? She's right. Every detail, every piece of the puzzle has obviously been well thought out. Kudos!
